The Tahitian Village Annual Membership meeting is scheduled for January 29, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at the Best Western located at 106 Hunters Crossing Blvd, Bastrop, and via Zoom. The Zoom link will be posted on our website at www.tahitianvillage.org and sent out by email about a week prior to the meeting.
Three Director places on the POA Board are expiring. Since there were five candidates and three vacant positions, a ballot will be necessary for the Board. The candidates are Charles Brading, Deena Eden, Michele Plummer, Courtney Kellogg, and Ruth Bullock.
The Architectural Control Committee has two vacancies to fill. Shelley Cartier and Courtney Kellogg were the two candidates that were approved therefore no ballot is necessary for the Committee.
Meet the Candidates will be held in person at the Bastrop Convention Center at 1408 Chestnut St. on January 11th at 6:30 pm as well as by Zoom. If you would like to submit questions for the candidates, please submit them by email to [email protected] by 5:00 pm on January 7, 2022.
You will be receiving your meeting notice in the mail in January. It will contain the agenda for the meeting with a list of speakers, letters from the POA and ACC Presidents, and information on the candidates for both the POA & ACC.
In your Annual Meeting notice, there will be a ballot and return addressed envelope enclosed.
The envelope will show the number of votes you have, and the ballot will contain instructions along with a place for your signature. All ballots must be signed and postmarked no later than January 24, 2022, or returned to the office by January 28, 2022.
This meeting is an opportunity for all Tahitian Village property owners to get an overview of the
POA, meet and speak with county and city officials, and hear from the folks in our community.
This meeting does not generally last more than two hours and is a great chance to learn more about your community. We ask that you please consider attending.
